Draft v0 · To be reviewed before launch

AgTag (“we”, “us”) is a UK-built farm management product. This page explains, plainly, what data we collect on agtag.co.uk, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to forget you.

What we collect

If you fill in the contact form: your name, email, phone (optional), farm name (optional), and message. Plus your marketing-opt-in choice if you tick the box.

If you pre-order rugged tags: your name, email, billing and shipping address, the items you ordered, and a Stripe payment identifier. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles payments end-to-end.

Server logs: standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, path) for security and debugging. Retained for 30 days.

Who processes it

  • Vercel — hosts the site and edge functions.
  • Neon — Postgres database for contact submissions and orders. Data stored in EU region.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Resend — transactional email (your order confirmation, contact-form acknowledgement). EU region.
  • Cloudflare — Turnstile spam protection on the contact form. No persistent tracking.

Cookies

We don’t use marketing or analytics cookies. The only cookies set are functional ones (session security). No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no third-party trackers.

How long we keep it

Contact submissions: kept for 24 months from last contact, then deleted unless you’re an active customer. Order records: kept for 7 years (UK tax requirement). Marketing opt-in records: kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, export it, or delete it. and we’ll respond within 30 days. Or complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk if you think we’ve mishandled something.

Updates

When this policy changes materially we’ll email everyone on file. Last updated: page stub, draft.
